Mr. Lewis is a Journeyman Machinist and Tool & Die Maker with ten years of shop floor manufacturing and assembly experience, N/C Programmer, Manufacturing Engineer, Tool Designer, Producibility Chairman, Designer, Design Checker, Design Section Manager, Senior Project Engineer, Principal Investigator & Responsible Engineer for R&D of weapon systems, and International Program Manager of US Weapon Systems sold to foreign Governments, for 37 years at Lockheed Martin Corporation.  

In addition, Mr. Lewis received his Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelors of Science in Industrial Management and Masters in Business Administration degrees, and was also an Adjunct Professor at The University of Akron for undergraduate Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering courses for over 25 years and an Adjunct Professor at Walsh University for International Program Management in the MBA program.  

Mr. Lewis has provided training and consulting for ToolingU/SME since 1990 and currently has his own business providing training and consulting for commercial and military customers. He has worked on and applied DFX/DFM/DFA/DFI/GD&T on many programs at Lockheed Martin, including the X-35/F-35 jet fighter, Millennium Gun, Submarine/Underwater UAV’s, Blimps/Aerostats, and Missile programs.
