Representative Orlando Ramos (D - Springfield) was first elected to the House is 2020. Within the Legislature, he serves on the House Committee on Federal Stimulus and Census Oversight, the Joint Committee on Ways and Means, the Joint Committee on Bonding, Capital Expenditures and State Assets, and the Joint Committee on Racial Equity, Civil Rights, and Inclusion. Prior to his election to the House, Representative Ramos was a member of the Springfield City Council, having served as City Council President from 2017 – 2018, and interned in Governor Deval Patrick’s Western Massachusetts office. He has also been a proud member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 336 for 18 years.
